Lord God,

You seek the welfare of your children and of all peoples and not their destruction: direct our wills towards the peace for which we yearn; and let there be peace among the nations, peace in our land, peace in our homes, and peace in our hearts; that we may know that peace which passes all understandingin Jesus Christ our Lord.
